Se tivermos em linha de conta o factor \"revolucionário\", um dos jogos mais esperados da PlayStation 3 é o já aclamado The Eye of Judgment. Este título de cartas vai conjugar o lado competitivo dos jogadores com as capacidades multimédia da consola da Sony, numa espécie de \"resposta adulta\" aos Pókemons da Nintendo.



Mas o interessante desta notícia não é o que Eye of Judgment é capaz de fazer, mas sim quanto ele vai custar. De acordo com Mark Valledor, director de marketing da Sony Computer Entertainment America, este jogo vai chegar aos mercados norte-americanos com uma etiqueta a dizer 69.99 dólares, apenas mais 10 dólares que os demais títulos PS3, e bem abaixo das expectativas de muitos.



Isto porque, para além do jogo, The Eye of Judgment vai ser comercializado com a câmara PlayStation Eye (sucessora do EyeToy), um suporte para a mesma, um tapete de jogo, um Starter Deck (pacote de 34 cartas) e ainda um Booster Pack (conjunto aleatório de 8 cartas, sendo que uma delas será rara ou mesmo ultra rara). Lançamento global agendado para final de Outubro.

Lastly, Sony has implemented a system to disallow online cheating by forcing users to register their decks offline.
Their decks will then be available to be chosen when they play against an online opponent and will be randomly shuffled and drawn by the game.
Players will then have to play their corresponding physical cards in the \"real\" world.




1. The Eye of Judgment will be priced at $70 and will include the game, PlayStation Eye, the battle mat, a starter deck that includes 30 Summoning and four Function cards and a booster pack that contains eight random Summoning cards with one rare or ultra-rare guaranteed to be packed in.


2. Sony\'s virtual card game will ship in North America Oct. 23, followed by a global launch at the end of October.


3. Further down the line, expansion packs will be introduced that promise to bring gamers more powerful creatures and spells that will alter gameplay mechanics to keep the game \"fresh.\"


4. Sony already has a plan to keep gamers from cheating online. Before playing online, you will have to register your Summoning deck offline.
Then, when you log in online, select your desired deck and are paired against your foe, the game will automatically shuffle your deck and randomly select which cards are drawn through the game itself.
You will then be forced to draw the selected card from your physical deck and play said card.


5. Lastly, much to the chagrin of UK gamers, the title definitely has no \"e\" in judgment, which is the common spelling found in the Bible, according to Wikipedia.


Valledor also noted Summoning cards will be available for purchase by Wizards of the Coast in booster packs and pre-constructed theme decks for $3.75 and $15, respectively.

Acho que é um jogo inovador. Não é o meu género, mas é sempre bom saber que que continuam a criar jogos completamente diferentes do que aqueles que estamos habituados.

What we should say before anything else is that EyeCreate isn\'t a game, necessarily, but an application that will essentially turn your PS3 into a media center that can edit audio, video, and image files so you can sort \'em and send \'em to friends. You will, of course, need the PlayStation Eye peripheral to make use of this application. Don\'t worry, the PS Eye is available as a standalone peripheral, so you don\'t have to worry about getting the Eye of Judgment pack if you aren\'t into that sort of thing.

This is only the beginning of a slew of applications and games that will support the new PS Eye, but the best part of EyeCreate is that it is completely free! Yep, you get some software that\'ll let you tweak a multitude of files for free. That\'s pretty awesome.
