Story: Beginning shortly before the ending of F.E.A.R., a Special Forces squad is on a routine mission when the city of Auburn is rocked by a supernatural explosion. Alma, a girl with immense power and a thirst for revenge, has unleashed her wrath upon the city and thrown it into chaos. The squad must combat enemy forces and the supernatural as they struggle to find a way to stop Alma and uncover the mysterious forces arrayed against them before it’s too late.

Devido à extrema violência do jogo, este viu barrada a sua entrada na Austrália pelo organismo encarregado de classificar os videojogos no país.
À Monolith Productions, produtora do jogo, só lhe resta adaptar o jogo e cortar as partes mais violentas, ou perder o mercado australiano. in EUROGAMER.pt

grande jogo, e no entanto foi banido da Australia... já o outro titulo tinha sido legal à rasquinha, mas este não escapou..

Apesar de ser esperada este mês, a Monolith anunciou que a demo só deverá ser lançada a meio do mês de Janeiro de 2009.
Para já ainda não se sabe para que plataformas esta demo está destinada, no entanto o jogo deverá ser lançado para PC, PS3 e Xbox 360 no próximo dia 13 de Fevereiro.
A Monolith deixa também no ar a possibilidade de haver uma demo a solo e outra do modo multijogador. in EUROGAMER.pt
